I grow a lot. But never taller.
Ever since I was little (and I don’t mean shorter) I wanted to do something to make the world better… it’s called idealism at that age. Ever since I was a bit bigger (and I don’t mean taller) I wanted to work for nonprofits and NGOs… its still called idealism at my age. So I’m a Development Professional in the Portland nonprofit sector and I hope to keep effecting change in the world, one organization at a time, one city or one state at a time, maybe even one country at a time… it keeps me idealistic. It keeps me growing.
My tattoo is a Gaelic blessing for a female traveler.
Oh, and by the way, I like to travel.
I’ve been fortunate enough to travel a lot in my life – Europe, Asia, Africa – and it has helped to define who I am. Portland is a truly unique and domestically exotic place in this country, and I love that about it. Every day there is something in this city that makes me feel like I am travelling somewhere else, all while walking the same streets. That’s a great feeling.
I have roots like an Oak, but a head in the clouds.
I am possibly the most obsessively organized person you may never meet, but everything-random and anything-ridiculous are my outlets for freedom. So just like me, my blog will be a bit of this and a bit of that… good luck!
